Concert news! 3 of the hottest bands will be in Syd for a one night only concert Leeland stop in Australia, en route to the GRAMMYs GRAMMY-nominated rockers Leeland play two shows in Australia next week, starting a short tour downunder before they jet back to America for the prestigious awards.
Travelling over 13,500km from their hometown of Baytown Texas, the band will stop in Brisbane and Sydney before heading to New Zealand for the popular Parachute Music Festival. Leelands latest album LOVE IS ON THE MOVE was recently nominated for the Best Pop/Contemporary Gospel Album GRAMMY, for this year’s upcoming ceremony.
This is the third consecutive year they have been nominated for the award, and Leeland will find out at the January 31 ceremony if they will receive their first win. Catching them before the rush, Parachute Music presents Leeland, alongside Family Force 5 (U.S.) and NewWorldSon (Can), for two Australian concerts.
Tickets to these Brisbane and Sydney concerts are $38 from Word Bookstores, and Word.com.au. Please visit parachutemusic.com for more information about the pre-Parachute Festival gigs near you.

It is a new year and new decade. We here at Positive Hits are believing that this will be your most amazing new year yet. We pray that you will achieve all the dreams and goals that God has placed on your heart.

What is the one thing we can do to change the world? Are we missing the point of our Christianity, is it just about being 'saved' all it is or is it about first being 'free' and then bringing freedom to others.
"It is for Freedom that Christ has set us free." Emma and I are so happy to promote the new I Heart Revolution movie out now in cinemas.
We are going to see it! :-)

Hey Guys! We are taking a short break now after Series 1 and will be back in Feb 2009 with NEW competitions, NEW music and NEW celebs for you to chat to! We have had a great time in 2008 and thankyou all for your emails, requests, strange photos and for watching the show each and every week! You guys are the best and we think you rock! "The thoughts of the wicked are an abomination to the Lord, but the words of the pure are pleasant"
Christian T.V and positive programming definitely has it's place in our world.
Many T.V shows are simply the thoughts of a few creative (or wealthy) individuals coming to life on the big screen or spread over the Internet.
This verse above makes it clear that not all thoughts deserve our attention, our time, or certainly not the trademark of our name.
Robert Schuller (in "the new Possibility Thinkers Bible) writes "Faith is not afraid to censor. It stands guard at the portals of your mind, checking the ethical and moral credentials of the ideas that could disrupt, disturb and possibly destroy your attitude of Faith"� Without guidelines, controls and censorship, life is like an airplane with a drunken pilot. A crash landing is always looming."
So here's to sifting out the good from the bad from our media diet. And cheers to bringing to life, the ideas from heaven that will impact the world and make it an amazing place�wherever our sphere of influence!
